Drying system

Technical characteristics:

-Furnace system for the generation of hot air used in the corn drying process, being used as fuel the cob. The cob is a material from the threshing process present in the processing units of corn, its calorific value ranges between 3300-4300 kcal / kg. The combustion process of this material is of extreme ease, being a propitious dosing in furnaces by dosing screw feeder and rotary valves.

-Control System - Monitoring of air heating system, it’s executed by PLC (Programmable Logic Controller), where the operator can choose 02 ways to control:
*Directly setting the desired temperature in the dryer: the furnace system is controlled via PID (Proportional - Integral Differential) control provides a continuous fuel dosing;
*Setting desired by reading the humidity and outdoor temperature humidity, the system calculates the control’s temperature using the psychrometric chart.
