Wind farms are one land or maritime area where they are concentrated several wind turbines that turn wind energy into electrical energy.
According to the Portal Energia was from the fifth century that the use of this form of energy has spread to the mainland and in the twelfth and thirteenth centuries with the appearance of the first hydraulic mills and wind.
The use of wind energy holds numerous advantages over traditional energy sources and even compared to other types of renewable energy, depending on their further development.
The main advantages of wind power are:
- - It is an inexhaustible source of energy;
- - Does not emit greenhouse gases, or generate waste;
- - It reduces the emission of greenhouse gases (GHG).
The construction of a wind farm consists of different and important steps for the operation to be effective and lasting. The quality of the concrete used both in the production of the towers, and in the bases and foundations, it is extremely crucial for the optimal functioning of the parks. In this article we will outline more precisely the importance of concrete preparations for the quality of the concrete of the towers.
As Portal Itambé, since the capture of winds began taking space in the Brazilian market in mid-2009, the absolute majority of the towers were made of steel. However, the advantages in the construction of concrete towers are larger.
Besides being possible to build them on-site deployment of the wind farm, which can become more economically viable, building towers in concrete eliminates much of the highways transportation logistics. Show up to competitive heights over 100 meters - steel structures range from 54 to 80 meters - or areas that present logistical obstacles.
But regardless of the tower structure that will support the wind turbine, steel or concrete, technical requirements need to be met prior to withstand the stresses produced by the equipment.
The concrete towers, factors such as stroke, reinforcement ratio, resistance to torsion and traction, curing time must be observed and pre-established with manufacturers. Typically, the concrete used in the production of precast segment of the tower is Pre-stressed Concrete.
The quality of concrete is crucial. For this, the equipment that produces the concrete need to be the best. Considering this application, the LINTEC-IXON developed Concrete Mixing Plants suitable for works where there is high quality concrete requirement and rigid control technology. The mixed in the concrete plant itself allows the transport after production of the concrete to the site of application may be another addition to concrete mixer trucks. Also you can:
- - Improved accuracy of dosing: The mixing plants have more precise dosage aggregate. Thus enabling less material waste and higher quality in the production of concrete;
- - Increased cement economy: It results in a considerable saving cement, reaching a reduction of up to 5.5% with respect to the metering stations of concrete.
LINTEC-IXON Mixer
The LINTEC-IXON mixer ensures concrete production with superior quality. The mixture is performed through a system of rotating blades that move the materials in a horizontal direction, ensuring a homogeneous mixture.
The mixing blades and the mixer jacket are made from high-strength material, providing greater component life.
In practice
The advantages related to Concrete Mixing Plant LINTEC-IXON are proven in practice by customers. Recently, Construtora Schumann, a provider of concreting services and civil works company which operates in the south of the country for over 35 years, acquired the mixing plant LINTEC-IXON to manufacture towers for wind farm.
With planetary mixer, the concrete plant has doser with 05 compartments and a unique dosing system through dosing mats, ensuring total accuracy in dosing.

Concrete Dosing Plants in Wind Farms
A few days ago went into another concrete plant in operating LINTEC-IXON for the construction of wind farms, this in turn, dosing concrete in Caetité-BA.
After great experiences of the company with the brand, other builders also have concrete plants LINTEC-IXON helping to build wind farms, located in Santa Vitória do Palmar-RS, Chui-RS, Aracati-CE and Jatoba-SE.
In view of the great advantages to using up wind power, building wind farms has been steadily growing in recent years, and it becomes an increasingly promising market.

Models of dosing and mixing concrete plants LINTEC-IXON guarantee high quality concrete production for this application. Practical, quick installation and easy operation for a noble purpose - to generate renewable and clean energy.
26 to 28 August was held the 9th edition of Concrete Show Fair, considered one of the most important places of the world construction.
On the 5th consecutive year of its participation LINTEC-IXON launched the Modular Concept, which became prominent during the event.
KNOW THE MODULAR CONCEPT
The modular concept is applied only in some models Concrete Plants LINTEC-IXON. The concept guarantees the possibility of expansion of equipment purchased in their original settings.
For the customers who are entering the market or for those who want to expand their business, the Modular equipment is ready to be incremented by modules, increasing production with just a few adjustments.
Module 1 - TGS Semimobile equipment in its initial default modeling. In this configuration, the machine produces 20 to 30 m³/h. Easy transportation and installation, configuration already allows future upgrade of the equipment.
Module 2 - Adding to the economic module TGS Semimóbile, a silo and weighing scale, the center can reach the production of 40 m³/h. The cement silo may be 65, 100 or 120 t.
Module 3 - P4 has plant module, which allows to increase production for up to 60 m³/h. You can also automate the center, allowing greater control, issuing broad range of reporting and remote access by the factory to check failures, diagnoses or program updates. Furthermore, it adds rotary distributor, eliminating the need for ramp.
Module 4 - In this module, the plant has two silos can store up to 160 m³ of cement. At this stage, the plant has excellent production performance and cement autonomy.
